2nd Annual Relay
for Laffs
A Comedy Show
at the Ice House Pasadena, Benefiting the
American
Cancer Society's Relay for Life Arcadia.
March 31, 2008
-- This April 5, 2008 marks the 2nd annual Relay for Laffs comedy show at the
famous Ice House in Pasadena. Opened in 1960, the Ice House has always been on
the cutting edge of comedy, producing comedians like Jay Leno, David Letterman,
Jerry Seinfeld and more. The Ice House has graciously agreed to hold a special
one night performance of it's top comedians to benefit a the American Cancer
Society’s Relay for Life Arcadia.
Proceeds of this event will benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life
event in Arcadia on June 21-22, 2008. Relay for Life is the American Cancer
Society's signature fund-raising event. It is a 24 hour team event in which
teams of volunteers take turns walking around a track for 24 hours to raise
funds for cancer research, education, community programs and advocacy. This
years Relay for Life will be held again at Santa Anita Park infield from 10:00
am on Saturday, June 21st to 11:00 am Sunday, June 22, 2008.
Last year, the Relay for Laffs event sold out quickly and this year will be no
